My recent healthcare experience was extremely positive.
I was diagnosed as having latent TB following an NHS occupational health check a Doncaster Royal Infirmary. I was subsequently prescribed a course of antibiotics. During the course of treatment I had an adverse reaction to the medication.
The situation was efficiently monitored and supported professionally by Tracey, the TB specialist nurse. Throughout, she demonstrated a courteous and empathetic approach with a clear understanding of any concerns. The situation was monitored via phone contact and home visits which was reassuring and responsive.
Tracey liaised with my GP and other health colleagues to ensure that my health situation was under control. Tracey was patient, caring and understanding.
I am very grateful for her input and that of other NHS staff.
"Grateful for her input"
