"Receiving letter after my appointment"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as a service user),

After the initial concern over being advised that I could have been exposed to a third-party with TB whilst on in-patient at Breathing space. I can only praise the professionalism of the specialist nurse (Tracey) in the Tb unit.

I received a full  explanation of the risks and a description of the tests I was to undertake.

The only criticism I have is on relation to the notification process through post,. The letter asking me to contact the hospital arrived after my appointment with Tracey.

Obviously something wrong with either the secretarial support or the hospital mail room.
