"Southern General Hospital A&E, medical recieving and Ward 26"

The staff were fantastic from first stepping into the hospital with my acutely ill father until discharge. A&E staff were understanding, approachable and sensible! The male staff nurse in medical admissions unit was excellent as were the staff who looked after my dad on day shift. Ward 26 was very well organised and all staff worked closely with the family to provide the best care possible for my dad. This experience was a far cry from his previous admission. Everyone in these areas should be congratulated for their high standards and excellent care provision. This should also include the portering staff and domestic staff, all of whom were outstanding in their professionalism and pride in their job - well done SGH.
