If you get an appointment the GPs are competent but you either have to have book online or phone at 8am and hold.
If like me you don't visit the doctor for every sniffle and there are long periods between visits then you might be forgiven for misplacing your username and password (set by the surgery). If you forget them then it is quicker to more practices because you have to provide a mountain of info in person to verify you are who you say. This is supposedly because of data protection. This, however, is an inconsistent approach. I walked in one day and asked to see a copy of a medical report prepared by my GP for an insurance company. I was not asked for ID, I could have been anyone. How is this less important than a password reset?
As for the phone, well good luck. It is a free for all at 8am and the chances getting an appointment are limited. Smaller still if you work office hours.
In summary, good if you can get an appointment but they make it difficult.
