"Thanks to all the staff"

About: Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

Had to have a Colonoscopy and was not looking forward to it. However now its over I would like to reassure anyone, that its really not as bad as you might think. The staff were great, really made me feel comfortable and relaxed, the surgeon was very good and explained everything as and when it was happening. The procedure is slightly uncomfortable but I never felt any pain. I used a little gas/air at the difficult bits but now I know what its like I could probably deal with it.

If you are having a colonoscopy at the Vic in Fife you're in great hands.

Thanks to everyone :)

Dear Februarycn78

How nice to read your comments following your Colonoscopy at the Vic.

It is always a worry coming for any procedure not knowing what to expect but it's reassuring to read that both the doctor and the nursing staff helped you relax and made sure you were comfortable during your test. I will certainly pass your comments on to all the staff.

I hope that you have now fully recovered.

Regards

Sandra
