"Ward 3E Crosshouse Hospital"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a relative),

My elderly Aunt suffered a stroke and was admitted to Ward 3E at Crosshouse Hospital.   Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done and she died there the next day.   The care she received from each and every member of staff was exemplary - despite not being conscious for a lot of the time.   As a family, we felt that they were also caring for us and everyone from the consultant to the lady bringing us tea were exceptionally kind.     With all the negativity surrounding health services these days it was good to experience service at its best.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.
