"7 days of parking is half a pensioner's income"

About: Alexandra Hospital

(as the patient),

The cost of parking was criminal. £3.00 minimum.

2 visits lasting 1 hour each cost £6.00 per day.

As a pensioner for 7 days visiting £42.00 half a pensioners income.

There was no security and no-one in the car park office in the evenings.

How can you justify this?

We recognise that we have patients and visitors who need to visit us frequently and have a Concessionary Car Parking policy in place. For patients or visitors who need to visit the hospital for 7 days or more the charge is reduced to £8 a week.
