About: York Hospital / Accident and emergency

My lovely Mum had a stroke on Saturday, the ambulance arrived within 10 minutes and she was assessed and put on treatment immediately. The consultant in A & E was waiting for the ambulance and not only did he look after my Mum he was fantastic, professional and caring with my very concerned Dad. Thankfully with the service and care received by all involved at York Hospital my Mum is already walking, talking and looking forward to go home and walk her dog. Ambulance staff. A & E and the stroke ward have all been amazing, positive, happy and personal and all have gone up and above their job role. They have made a scary, hard and difficult situation bearable.
