attended a and e last night as was having difficulty breathing due to very bad cough and cold that i had had since xmas.checked in and didn't have to wait too long to be seen by very helpful nurse who did the necessary checks and took me round to a cubicle.was seen by staff who put me on a drip had chest x ray bloods ecg as well .very caring and told me what they were doing. had to wait a bit of a while for doctor to examine the x rays as they were quite busy.told had bad chest infection and prescribed antibiotics by doctor. from time i got there till i got home was 4 hours which i thought was acceptable thinking it was going to be a lot longer!. caring staff a credit to the nhs.
