On reading some of the great reviews regarding Burnley day case unit I would like to add that from walking onto the ward to leaving I felt totally relaxed and cared for.

All the staff were patient, polite and very helpful.

I was extremely nervous and each doctor, nurse and anaesthetist that spoke to me showed compassion and explained everything in great detail.

I had to contact the ward a few times over the following few days and not once did they make me feel like they were too busy to talk to me or to give me advice.
