"I can't praise the staff on B11 enough"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I was in B11 ward and I can't praise it enough. From the doctors down to the cleaners, day and night staff were really good. I was also in ward B3. It was a very busy ward but I did not like junior nurses giving me my tablets. I know they have to learn but I think they should be supervised more.

Sorry for writing and spelling, all in all, I have no complaints.

Dear full42

Thank you for your posting. It is always nice to receive praise and I will make sure the staff are made aware of your kind words.

On a separate note though, I hope I can reassure you by telling you that all staff are fully trained in the administration of medications before they are able to administer drugs to patients. In addition, all nurses that dispense medications are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and are bound by their codes of practice.

With best wishes

Rebecca Allinson
