"Out of Hours Service was excellent"

(as the patient),

I rang the Out of Hours Service on the morning of Saturday 12 february, I was asked to give brief details of my problem and was then told a Doctor would contact me. This happened within ten minutes of my call and it was arranged that I would attend the Westbourne Centre just after 10am.

On arriving at the Centre I started feeling quite ill, the reception staff were very kind and considerate sitting me away from the other patients and running out into the car park to find my husband.

I was seen and examined by a Doctor Howard who was wonderful. I fould him to be very caring and empathetic, taking the time to listen to how I was feeling and dealing with my symptoms, and explaining the medication he was prescribing.

I found the whole OOH experience excellent and consider I was very fortunate to be able to access this service - particularly as I was feeling really poorly, it is a times like this when you need this sort of support. Many thanks
