"Big thanks to A&E dept"

About: North Middlesex Hospital / Accident and emergency

Saturday 30th dec I had to take my 84 yr mother to A&e she takes wafrin and had a blood shot eye. We had been refered via the GP walk in centre.

First contact the person at reception whay a caring person ,made sure I had got mum sat down first and managed to calm me down while taking mums details.

It was a long wait but during the time she was checked over bp etc then blood test had to check the inr.

Called to main area mum had to lie a trolley she was a bit anxious about that but the nurse said we have no chairs so have a rest which made mum laugh , checked her all over again , left for a minute ,on her return she had come up with a plan re mums pills etc. When we did leave mum was very happy with how she had been treated, and from my point could not fault the staff . yes it was a long wait but nothing was left out .

The only problem was a sore bottom.

Dear Anonymous

Thank you for your positive feedback.

It was good to hear that despite a busy department your mother received good care. We work hard to deliver effective care in the most challenging environment, and I am happy to see that reflected in the care that she received. I will share your positive review with our staff, such positive reviews works as morale booster for us to keep on doing the good work that we do every day

Thanks,

Vinayak Bhandwalkar
