"Don't bother going here"

About: West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance)

Some of the nurses here need to remember that it is their job to help and treat all patients with dignity care and respect. If they are not caring people then they are in the wrong profession.

We dealt with a male nurse who made us feel like we were wasting their time. Even though there were plenty of nurses, only 2 patients, it is a minor injuries unit (had a minor injury, obviously) and we were advised to visit there from my GP.

I shall be complaining further. .

Not the place to go if you are a vulnerable or elderly patient as you will be treated with no dignity nor respect.

Dear Sir / Madam

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent visit to West Cornwall Hospital.

We would never want our patients to feel they haven't been treated with dignity and respect and I am so sorry that this was your experience. I note that you have said you will be complaining further, and I would like to assure you that this will be investigated should you do so. You can e-mail rcht.patientexperience@nhs.net and someone will get back to you to advise you on making a complaint.

In the meantime I will also ensure that your comments here are fed back to the Matron for West Cornwall Hospital.

With kind regards
Jenny Thomas, Patient Experience Manager
