About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

My mother in law came with with chest pains at 11pm and was seen by a doctor at 7am! I have never known a slower service. One person is seen an hour! Absolutely rediculous.

I am very sorry that your mother in law had a long wait in our Emergency Department, but unfortunately this time of year we do tend to be extremely busy and the team have to prioritise the patients that need treatment the most urgently. I do hope that she is feeling much better.
