"Disgrace to the NHS"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Accident and emergency

This is the worst hospital I have ever had the misfortune to experience. Please please please, if you or a loved one require treatment please travel to another hospital.

I was waiting for 4 hours for an ambulance which never turned up so had to get a taxi. Then was waiting 3 hours to be seen in A&E only to be told I had pulled a muscle in my back but received a call 4 days later informing me I had crushed one of my vertebrae! I received no change in treatment despite my change of diagnosis and was referred for physiotherapy.

The physio team were no better. They were meant to call me as part of a virtual appointment and this did not happen! When I called to check when I would receive the call they lied, and said they had tried me 3 times but this never happened!

This is the worst service I have ever received and considering this is a substantial spine injury which could cause problems such as paralysis etc myself and my family are disgusted at the quality of care I have received!

Additionally, none of the PALS links work for this hospital; what a surprise!
