I am writing this review as my father has been treated at Northwick Park Hospital for a number of infections and since July has been in and out of hospital as he is sent home by the doctors when this infection is not fully recovered, he comes home only to go back to Northwick Park hospital as an emergency patient. Since July he has been admitted as an emergency patient 8 times - this is rather excessive and distressing. He is frail and distraught - the nurses are very good, but the doctors seem to think that its ok to send him home even though he is so unwell and needs 24-hour care.
8 times as an emergency patient admitted for at least a week at a time - clearly this man needs some good care and attention - but the doctors send him home with no care just because he is on oral antibiotics does not mean he is well and able to care for himself.
I am actually disgusted at the way that he has been treated at this hospital - never go there unless you are a private patient - in public care, they just don't care!
"Very poor service from the medical staff"
