About: Basildon University Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I stayed on Horndon ward for 10 days , I had a spinal fusion done I just have to say how wonderful all the staff were I lived along way from the hospital so didn't have visitors the last of my 6 days ,but with all the kind staff I never felt to lonely ,also met some fantastic patients ,I was taken care of very well and they all deserve some recognition ,thank you so much kind regards Dawn

We are always pleased when patients take the time to comment on their experience at Basildon Hospital and were pleased to hear that you were pleased with the care and treatment you received on Horndon Ward.

It can be difficult for patients who live some distance from the hospital to have visitors so are pleased to hear that between the staff and other patients you did not feel lonely during your staff.

Our staff do a difficult job with skill, professionalism and compassion and comments such as yours are always very much appreciated.
