I was admitted into BVH on friday 22nd Dec . After being spoke to like a child in assessment by a nurse after sitting on a hard chair for 15 hours with a bad leg i was moved onto AMU.......wow . How on earth is any one expected to get well the noise and people just doesnt stop .
I was then moved to ward 3 .....not a single bad word to say about the whole staff on this ward , freindly ,helpfull, attentive ,made sure i was comfortable nothing to complain about my care from any of them .
Then Monday night i was moved and when i say night i mean night at 11pm !!!! To ward 39!!!!!!.
This is a cardiac ward , it was pitch black , there are constant buzzers going off . I was told i needed to go to sleep !!!! . They didn't know why i was here , what was wrong as i was told i needed a heart monitor on ...i have a bad leg .
The door to the room was constantly being opened ....i was again told i was meant to be asleep . I requested the the door to be closed it was opened 3 further times .
In the morning i had a blood test at 7am for checking if i could be discharged . Was told results would be back within an hour two at the most . It is now 2.30pm and no results , i have not seen a Dr ,a nurse or anybody else . I asked for someone to find out what is happening, no one came to give me any information at all .
I am waiting 10 more minutes then i will be asking if anyone can be bothered to remove my cannula from my arm as i have my home medication and i will be discharging myself out of this dreadful ward .
"ward 39 what a joke"
