"LACK OF COMMUNICATION"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary / Accident & emergency

Had to keep repeating over and over again about what had brought my partner to A&E.

Seemed even though there looked like information was wrote down it was not.

Kept saying to staff my partner needed his medication, kept being fobbed off.

Handed a copy of the prescription with the medication and dosage on and this was lost.

Told he needed to stay in overnight had to ask for food and drink.

Tried to give him painkillers again which he had already been given as had no record of this.

Regular medication was due at around 21.30 in the evening, I left at about 2.30 in the morning and still he had not had his medication, offered to take him home and bring him back in the morning, warned against this, even offered to drive home and bring the medication was told they would prescribe it.
