"Disgusted at my dads care"

My dad has been in A&E 6 weeks ago . Admitted then discharged less than 24 hours later. Poorly at home and deteriorating. GP concerned and got him sent to A&E again where my dad sat all night waiting for a bed on a ward .

Instead discharged. Very Poorly still.

GP is very annoyed. GP has referred him to Leighton again yesterday. He has finally been collected by ambulance this morning and guess what ? Due to Lack of communication the ambulance crew were unable to take him due to not having the correct equipment . So had to leave and return later. He is now in hospital, awaiting a ward. My dad is 70, never been in hospital until now. Disgusted by the lack of care shown by doctors at the hospital. He may have a particular “long term problem” but right now he desperately needs specialist attention in hospital not left at home to deteriorate. I have emailed the hospital to ensure he gets help and not sent home. This is my dad , my mums husband, a grandad . He has cared for us all and now it’s his turn to need caring for.
