"not well run"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

there was lots of people waiting and the department just seemed to be overwhelmed

Triage was confusing seeing admins then different nurses and then not being sure about how long the wait times were - when you are unwell - having to keep getting up and down and being called back and forth to the reception desk where there are no chairs so you have to keep getting up and walking over stand up go though why you are there again and again then you turn back and there is nowhere left to sit and wait and the waiting room is full up

the constant up/down was exhausting and there really should be somewhere for people to sit down whilst talking to the nurse and some people were having to sit on the floor whilst talking to them ! and then too people are sitting on the floor in the waiting room too which was not exactly clean

very long wait times and very confusing service which does not seem to actually take any notice of fact people are there because they are unwell

when you do actually see someone they were not overly helpful either

Thank you for your review. We're very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience of the urgent care centre at the New QEII. We'll pass your feedback on to senior members of the team who will be keen to hear it.
