This happened iver a year ago but it is part of a litany of disasters regarding my landlord, the GP surgery has never been approached and I realised it would be a good idea to write this up.
I contacted this surgery urgently because one of their patients who lives near had suddenly become aggressive, unbalanced and threatening. I did not want to inflame matters by calling the police and informed her surgery instead as it appeared to be a mental health problem, telling them to be careful as they were aggressive. The follwoing day I was physically threatened by this patient, who clearly had not been helped. I ended up calling police anyway. I was then harassed for the next year by this patient and her alcoholic mentally unwell family, intimidation, eveything...
I am disgusted at this surgerys casual attitude and breaching of NHS confidentiality policy, putting me in danger. I have recorded evidence, perhaps they might review some of their patients in light of this incident? And give them the attention they need instead of expecting unsuspecting members of the public to be victimised by them, physically threatened, etc. There is no excuse for ill-informed staff in such a serious matter, and complacency.
"Breached confidentiality and put me in danger..."
