What I liked

The NHS frequently comes in for criticism from a largely uninformed public and press. I needed emergency assessment/treatment for a possible heart condition at 5 am on Sunday morning. Nurses and doctors were consistently positive, thoughtful, considerate and above all professional. If this department is an example of what we as patients can expect, we have every reason to be proud of the service provided by the NHS.
