"Early Pregnancy Unit a big disappointment."

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Maternity care

Firstly staff do not read your notes or share information with each other. Having to explain your situation each time you go in as if for the first time. Even though I had attended 3x for the same situation.

I am very disappointed with a few of the nurses there who showed little compassion for a difficult situation. To ask the question 'so are you pregnant' when you've just miscarried is extremely insensitive and a strange question when you've already been attending about a failed pregnancy.

To discuss your circustsnces in a corridor for all to hear is also not respecting patient privacy. I was able to hear another patients situation as they were mine.

To overhear 'so what's the situation with **, is she pregnant' and my name being read out, I do not consider to be professional.

Disgusting way to deal with an already difficult situation.

No regard to patients concerns that I tried to raise or discuss with a dr but later got called away to speak to a receptionist to be talked out of 'waiting a long time' for the dr. Would never access any maternity services here again off the back of this experience.

It's a shame as the dr was very nice and the young sonographer was also lovely. They have been let down by a few unprofessional insensitive people who are clearly in the wrong job.
