Never have I been more dissapointed with the lack of service provided by the Gastroenterology department at Bradford Royal Infirmary! To date I am no further forward, suffering from an unknown condition which my GP refered me to the gastrology department for further testing and to form a specialist opinion.

I was seen by a doctor on 6th November for an endoscopy, the results of my endoscopy test took four weeks to be sent to my GP. Following this my GP have sent several letters requesting an urgent consultation for further testing in which the gastrology department are clueless in regards to. I have been calling everyday since and been passed from pillar to post as my condition becomes worse day by day.

If your GP suggests to refer you to this department I urge you to ask for a different hospital to save yourself the mental stress and anxiety I myself am currently going through.

I am sorry to hear this and for some reason the reply I posted last week does not seem to be showing, and so I can only assume you have not received this either.

Please contact me on patient.experience@bthft.nhs.uk with your name, date of birth, phone number and Hospital or NHS number if you know it. It would also be helpful to know the name of the consultant or doctor you saw and the GP who referred you and their surgery. Please also update me if anything has changed since you posted this. I assure you I will do all I can to help. I am not in the office until 2 Jan but can access email.
