"Is this now a business or is it still a GP..."

About: Strelley Health Centre (Cockrill)

I have been with this practice for nearly 30 years and up until the last 2 and a half years.

I have always received excellent care.

Initially when the new doctor took over, people accepted that there would be a few teething problems.

However; the practice has continued to decline. On many occasions there have been no GPS to take a surgery.

On one occasion the doctor kept a surgery full of patients waiting for nearly an hour.

However; there was no apology.

Patients have been sent to other surgeries of this doctor, some of which are difficult to get to, especially if you have to rely on public transport.

You never know from one week to another, which doctor you will see.

When they first arrived the doctor declined to give patients their regular medication until, they had been seen by a GP.

Understandably this caused a great deal of stress and anxiety to many patients.

Prior to the doctor taking over this and other practices.

Patients were always treated with empathy and respect.

The doctor appears to lack both.

They come across as a very arrogant individual.

The 2 nurses at the practice deserve a great deal of credit and praise.

They do an exceptional job and are extremely caring towards their patients.

What I fail to understand, is.

How is one docter able to own so many practices?

I feel very sad that a once extremely, amazing practice, has deteriorated into a 1 star failure.
