I visited A&E at around 5.45am on Friday 15 December.
I was greeted by a very grumpy receptionist.
After I was put through the ward I received excellent treatment. The nurse who dealt with me was lovely, the staff nurse was efficient, the doctor treating me was very thorough and I had more blood test done and went on to tell me that I had a condition which I knew nothing about.
The doctor advised that I see my GP as soon as possible.
My medication was given to me without a long wait.
The porter that took me to x-ray was very friendly.
All in all I felt treated very well by all the staff at A&E this morning.
As I started this by saying the only negative was the receptionist who booked me in.
I had to call the A&E around 9.30am and I spoke to the most professional and lovely women on the phone.
All those who I dealt with today (bar the receptionist) are a true credit to Croydon University Hospital.
