About: Furness General Hospital

My daughter needed an eye operation on the 13th December we were there at 7.45am by 8.30 we were told they were doing both eyes and the Consultant spoke to my daughter and reassured her they were so good with her. The nurse who looked after my daughter from the moment we walked on the ward till we left they did everything to make sure my daughter was completely comfortable and understood what was going on the nurses was amazing. As my head was somewhere else I have forgotten the name of the annesative and the fabulous team in the after care after the operation but myself and my husband were very grateful for everything they did xx
