"SVT/ AVNRT Ablation"

I recently visited Southampton Hospital for an ablation on my heart for a rhythm problem I have been suffering with for over 5 years. I was quite apprehensive about the operation as I had a similar operation back in 2016 that wasn't successful, however I was greeted onto a lovely ward with lovely staff. The last time I visited, I had to stay over night the night before and I was on a 'young persons clinic' which ranged from 18 year olds to 65 year olds and I didn't feel very comfortable. However this experience was much better and I felt a lot more comfortable. I would really love to thank the staff that looked after me that day on the 9th November, you were all lovely. I would also like to thank the doctor who was amazing. This doctor has really changed my life and I cannot thank them enough for the work they have done over the last couple of years. Even when the previous operation wasn't as successful as the doctor had hoped, they remained positive and re-assured me this time that they are 99% sure they have solved the problem. All of the staff I met were a joy and I would also like to thank them for allowing my crazy family on the ward with me at all times!! The care and attention I received did not go in-noticed. Thank you everyone for helping me through a positive change in my life, and assisting my journey to a better quality of life!!
