Whilst waiting for an anxious mamagram I was seated in the Breast clinic waiting room with a number of other ladies all in hospital gowns. This in itself is distressing awaiting your fate after an examination. However, some bright spark thought it ideal to run a teenage clinic next door and these teenagers shared the breast clinic waiting area. The majority were male teenagers. I felt this was disrespectful and inconciderate to put ladies through what I think is an embarrasing situation. Please could you try and consider that this is a very personal situation for ladies and a bit of dignity and respect would be very much appreciated. I had a positive result which was a huge relief some ladies will not have been as lucky and would not have welcomed gum chewing teenagers as a reception commitee for this news.
