"Burns Unit and Hand Therapy unit"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Accident and emergency

Thank you to all at Stoke Mandeville Burns and therapy Units who looked after me during my stays in hospital after my accident.

I was the one who decided to try and mend a bedside lamp while it was still plugged in, and electrocuted myself ending up with a very serious burn on my thumb which needed plastic surgery and on my index finger.

The staff were wonderful, very kind and caring. The surgeons who performed the operations have done a very neat job, and the hand is healing well.

I am so very grateful to you all.

May God bless you all this Christmas.

Yours truly Jane Callow
