"A and E experience"

After visiting the new A and E I must say I was not impressed, the lack of any form of confidentiality was dreadful from the booking in, to actually going home, there was absolutely no confidentiality. I could tell you about all the other patients in the minor injuries ward, and I am sure they could also tell you about me. It really was a dreadful experience and due to a lack of confidentiality I did not tell the medical staff all that I would have like to. Very poor new unit, I really feel it has been dreadfully designed and lacks the opurtunity to treat patients with dignity, respect and privacy. My who experience was being sat in a chair with five others watching what was happening, I cannot put into words just how bad it was. Also I do not feel the treatment was appropriate and still feel the problem is far from rectified.
