"Successful BCC removal with plastic surgery"

I want to compliment the Head and Neck Team for my care today, when I had a BCC removed from my upper lip area. The whole team from check in to discharge showed me care and respect. The staff were upbeat, reassuring, caring and confident and I felt I was in very good hands. I am upset that I am unable to name the surgeons by name on this site, as I think they deserve individual praise. I had the procedure under local anaesthetic and the surgeons talked to me throughout the procedure, checking on my wellbeing and talking me through the process. The anaesthetist's assistant used humour to reassure me and the junior doctor who gave me several local injections was proficient and kind. You all made an anxious process very bearable.
