"The NHS at it’s best"

I attended the Chedworth Suite for day surgery to remove a benign breast cyst. Staff were professional but friendly and the ward was clean with a pleasant atmosphere. I had visits from the both the consultant and the anaesthetist which was very reassuring. I was scheduled for morning surgery but it was well into the afternoon before I went to theatre. This isn’t a complaint, just an observation. All personnel I encountered during the day were brilliant. I would especially like to single out staff in Recovery who were obviously under extreme pressure yet went about their duties with diligence and good humour.
