"MRI scan appt"

Our appt was for 11 but we were asked to come 15 mins early which we did. We sat and waited, patiently to begin with. After about 1 hour we asked what was happening. A child who had been sedated needed urgent scan, that was hour after our appt time. So there was already a delay before this.These things happen which we understand. But as always you are not told of delays. We sat waiting until about 1.30 when my partner was called in. Letter stated scan took about 30 mins. 1 hour later he came out. 

Why does no one ever tell you. After. 4 hours we went to go home. Had to pay £4 in parking. All we expect is to be advised about what is happening. Staff were not forthcoming.  Please get the staff to inform us.
