"Children's A and E/ Short stay unit"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

My daughter ( 2y 11m) was seen on 2.12.17 for viral gastroenteritis; all of the staff were exceptionally accommodating, caring and above all listened to our instincts as parents. The care was so collaborative and authentic and they made a frightening time for us as parents, and my daughter, feel less frightening and we implicitly trusted the care we were getting. They were fab!

Dear reviewer,

Thank you for leaving a review for Children's & Adolescent Services at Leicester Royal Infirmary. While we are sad to hear your daughter was unwell and had to visit A&E, we are pleased to learn that the care she received met the high standard our staff set for themselves. We’d like to wish you and your daughter all the very best and hope that she has a speedy recovery. We will pass your message onto the emergency department who will be delighted to receive it.

Best wishes,

Communications Team
