I was lucky enough to get a referral via my GP to talking Therapies from inclusion Matters Wirral.
At my first session I was crying, unable to focus on anything I had brain fog, so I was in a bit of a mess. I did have suicidal thought on a regular basis, I didn’t go out for months, spent a lot of time alone, I was unable to focus on my issues, some of them were regarding my family. It was having a real impact on my daily life, plus it was having an impact on my partner which was unfair and selfish of me, as he was the only person trying to help me. He could see the effect it was having on me.
Enough about me, my counsellor was Jannette who listened to me, make me think about what to do, and to focus on things I needed to do either regards to the family issues, this enabled me to deal with a logical manner and helped me gain confidence to deal with family and speak up for myself.
Jeanette helped to do all of this and I am so grateful to her and the services that you all provide. This service is so important and I think the NHS workers all need to be supported by a Government ( a pay rise that shows the NHS how important you all are. Look a t what happened this year in London and Manchester/ who were the first there to treat people and save lives!)
Thank you all for what you do.
I am very grateful for all your help and support.
"Grateful for all your help and support."
