"My main arteries became blocked"

About: Royal Papworth Hospital (Papworth Everard)

I awoke with a tightness in my chest 27-9-2016

I rang 101 they deployed an ambulance straight away they were with me within 15 minutes and ECG showed them I was having a massive heart attack. Paramedics arrived shortly afterwards and travelled with me in the ambulance. Two members of staff greeted me in the ambulance at Papworth and assured me they would get me better. The doctor and their team did exactly that with a second visit within a two weeks. All the staff at Papworth Hospital do this night and day saving and improving lives. They are all such wonderful people and they deserve the new hospital to continue the unbelievable service they gave to me. They all helped save my life and I wish them a Merry Christmas for many Christmases to come xxx
