"Disabled Son"

About: Colchester General Hospital / Accident and emergency

My son was brought in earlier this week by ambulance as he was having breathing problems as he is asthmatic and had had a chest infection which had lasted 3 weeks and was just getting worse despite the usual medication.

I just want to thank everyone who was involved with my sons care, from the ambulance crew that stayed with us and were very supportive to the A and E team who were very impressive, sending him for xrays bloods nebulisers and even helping with personal care, their help was outstanding and thorough and very respectful and kind.

Thank you to the EAU ward who were so kind to us and Eastthorpe Ward, where the nurses and doctors were amazing! nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to help. The cleaners, tea and food staff were also polite and very helpful.

Thank you to you all for making a very scary stressful time so much easier and for your outstanding treatment which was so appreciated.
