My daughter went to the Day Surgery Unit today and was put to sleep to have a couple of teeth out. The staff were amazing with her and the fact that they talked through everything, introduced everyone, let her feel and try the gas mask beforehand, let her opt out of an injection and let us wait in the sensory area and I didn't even have to mention the autism word other than when we booked her in was perfect - just how it should be 👏🏼 well done Day Surgery Unit staff
