"Ashwell Ward"

About: Lister Hospital / Older people's healthcare

The care of my 89 year old ( almost 90 ) frail mother has been very good. The nurses, doctors and social worker-who,refreshingly, actively listened, has been kind, caring and compassionate. Grateful thanks to all who’ve been involved in her care during her three weeks admission. I was initially alarmed by reviews of this ward,but have to say my Mother has been extremely well cared for.

Only criticism, is lack of sharing information between teams and staff, but this isn’t only confined to Ashwell Ward, it’s hospitals in general!
