What I liked
The SHO I saw was polite on the surface.
What could be improved
The promises that were made to me could have been honoured.
I told the SHO that I saw at the Cherrywood Clinic, that I am completely socially excluded and I have no family or friends for support. I made sure that I stated this fact clearly. I have just discovered (January 2011) that the SHO that I saw, sent a letter to my GP stating that I "have family and friends close by for support". This is completely the opposite of what I explicitely told the doctor. I have had no support since I attended the appointment at Cherrywood Clinic (Royal Oldham Hospital) and even though I have attempted to contact the consultant in charge of my case twice by letter, he has failed to acknowledge my letters and has completely ignored my plight. I would advise avoiding the Royal Oldham Hospital like the plague, especially the Cherrywood Clinic, who have proved to me that they can not be trusted. All I have to look forward to now, is a lfe of isolation and death!
This is a new low for the NHS, who are showing time and again that they are not accountable for their actions. I have also tried to make contact with the PALS officers at the Royal Oldham Hospital, by letter and they have also ignored my letters. They are supposed to help patients.AppointmentsDeath and dyingConsultantsDoctors
