"fantastic care of my granddad"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Neurology (Brain, Spinal and Nerves) Balfour Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

granddad was admitted to hospital in Orkney where he received amazing care, I live away and I was never even slightly concerned because I knew the most fabulous care was being given by the nurses and staff on the rehab ward in the balfour, later he was transferred to the neuro ward in Aberdeen where the doctors spoke of the need for spinal surgery which was very concerning as he is an older frail man which really worried us and him however he received really good care from the ward and we as a family were very grateful for this. While in hospital for spinal issues he had a previous appointment for a TURP, he was concerned he' miss his scheduled appointment due to the acute admission with spinal issues. luckily the medical staff decided to do the turp and he was quickly on the mend and now back home. I am soo grateful to all the staff who looked after my grandad while I was unable to and cannot find any fault.
