I had previous post partum haemorrhage following first delivery at a different hospital and felt let down with the after care. I desperately wanted this birth to be different so opted to deliver at wansbeck.

My baby was born on christmas eve less than 40 mins after arriving at wansbeck. Despite the short amount of time between my arrival and delivery of my baby boy the midwives were amazing. They listened to me and kept me completely reassured about blood loss throughout delivery. I felt like I was in control as they gave me options and responded quickly to all my needs.

I was very impressed with the quality of care and amazed at how well my labour ward managed, particularly when condidering how quick it was.

The midwives were so thorough and I cannot praise them enough. If I ever have a 3rd baby, this would be my choice of hospital without a doubt! Thank you to the amazing team from one very happy and quickly recovered mummy!
