"Chest and back pain"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital / Accident and emergency

I had to attend A&E (29/11/17) as I had been experiencing chest/back pain and felt very uncomfortable for a few days.

A&E was extremely busy and full, yet the staff all worked together as a team to get through the patient load in a professional manor.

I work at the trust, and yesterday I felt very proud to be part of the trust. The care I received was fantastic. I felt very informed regarding each step of my care. The Doctor spoke to me very clearly about everything that was going to happen which made me feel very comfortable. When you work within a hospital, it can feel very strange being the patient, but I felt very calm due to the care I received. From the lovely Band 3 Health Care Assistant who took my bloods and my ECG (I forgot their name unfortunately) then the Doctor. Both were completely professional and a credit to your A&E department.
