About: Kettering General Hospital

I have spoken to someone today at the maxillofacial clinic. I have had a great deal of pain in a tooth that I am waiting to have removed. They found out where I was on the waiting list and has ensured I am kept up to date with when my appointment will be, promising to contact me in case of a cancellations.

They were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble.

I work for the NHS and often hear so much negativity about the services people receive. I am so glad KGH has a person like this working for them. We definitely need more like them.

Thank you for your kind comments and positive feedback. As a department we try and treat all our patients as individuals and not a number on a waiting list.

At times though with the ever increasing pressures it can be more difficult.

It is nice to hear that the staff empathy still prevails.
