I visited a Rheumatologist earlier in the week, this visit was prompted by my GP after other tests and continuing fatigue, muscle weakness and other symptoms. The doctor I saw was excellent, with effective communication, who listened and did not dismiss any of my health issues. It was good to get a diagnosis and have the reality of my symptoms acknowledged sincerely without rebuttal based on my mental health. I have Fibromalgia and now know I'm not imagining it, this is a real issue confirmed medically with explanatory rationale. I now feel empowered to begin tackling this medical condition.
