"Everyone is entitled to be treated with respect and good manners"

About: Ipswich Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was sent to the hospital by the optician who examined my eyes that morning as I was experiencing floaters and flashes in my right eye and she was concerned it might be a tear in my retina.

I appreciate every department is busy but this person was rude and made me feel as if I was wasting their time. They told me they were about to go to their lunch so presumably that was the reason for their hostility but I found their demeanour unacceptable as everyone is entitled to be treated with respect and good manners. They did examine my eyes and said they could find nothing wrong which is good for me but if I ever have to go back to the eye clinic, I certainly would not be seen by this person again!
