About: Lincoln County Hospital / Maternity

Staff didn’t talk to each other properly so I were miss told information which ended up meaning I didn’t get to breastfeed my son at all. Then I stayed in overnight an extra night for support with breastfeeding which never happened. Then one nurse jumped to conclusions and not read my notes or actually listened and ended up calling safeguarding so were forced to stay an extra night which Weren’t needed according safeguarding officers within hospital. I will never be having an child there again and Its worth driving 30-1hr to another hospital!!!

I am so sorry to hear about your experiences during your stay with us and how it has made you feel.

Please could you get in touch with either myself or Julie Bulteel (Matron for Maternity Inpatients) so that we can meet with you either at the hospital or your home if you would prefer so that we can learn from your experiences and ensure that your experiences do not happen again for anyone else using our services.

I look forward to hearing from you.

best wishes

Sue
